The Port Authority of NY & NJ operates of one of the nation’s largest networks of airports, bridges, tunnels, rail systems, seaports and cargo ports in the NY/NJ Metropolitan region.
Through a variety of communication efforts, the agency and its police department received national Tri-state regional media recognition for ongoing security and law enforcement efforts following the terror attacks on 9/11.  It also achieved countless national stories, about the agency's measures to safeguard the traveling public in media outlets such  as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News Channel and Time. Highlights included:

• National stories, including CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” about PAPD Lt. John McLoughlin who was rescued from the ruins of the World Trade Center following its collapse on 9/11. His story later became the inspiration for the Nicholas Cage film “Last Man Out.”​
• National story on CBS Evening News with Dan Rather where New York Governor George Pataki and New Jersey Governor James McGreevey provided the anchor with an exclusive tour showing the agency’s resilient spirit to rebuild and re-open the PATH World Trade Center Station.
• ​National news highlighting the touching story of PAPD Sgt. David Lim whose Police K-9 “Sirius” died in the line of duty on 9/11. Coverage appeared on all national television networks and in many national newspapers and magazines.    ​

CONTACT is one of our favorite volunteer organizations and our President, Tony Ciavolella sits on its Board of Directors. An incredible group of volunteers work 24/7 to provide emotional support to people in crisis or contemplating suicide - via Hotlines, CrisisChat, and reassurance services. In 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic, CONTACT's annual fundraising gala was held virtually, hosted by actress Jill Whelan from the ABC television hit-series The Love Boat. 
​           We helped create the script for the gala and edited the entire 48-minute video production, which then aired on CONTACT's YouTube channel. The Gala Honoring Unsung Heroes recognized those who went above and beyond the call of duty this year during our national health crisis and raised more than $26,000 of its $30,000 goal!

The company’s SmartCart™ with the AirGuard2™ electronic locking mechanism addresses the threat airlines face due to potential security lapses pertaining to food and duty-free delivery. This risk is a very real global aviation security concern which is reportedly being taken very seriously and investigated by the U.S. Office of the Special Counsel, U.S. Senate Homeland Security Committee, and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

The nationally-known phenomena of senior citizens playing video games at Erickson Living retirement communities provided extensive news coverage for the company in news outlets such as CBS Evening News,  ABC World News Tonight, CNN, and Fox News Channel, as well as countless local stories in key markets. Media coverage for Erickson also included:

• National publicity highlighting an original rap music, lip-synch video starring seniors that celebrated the NY Giants trip to the Super Bowl.
